Marilyn Judith Adeyemi

As a young student, Marilyn Adeyemi fell through the cracks. Her family

life and school performance intertwined, and as a result she struggled

for years to unravel the threads of her family’s dysfunction.

Marilyn was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. After earning a bachelor’s degree

in Urban and Rural Studies from the University of California San Diego, she earned two teaching credentials—Multiple Subject and Special Education from Point Loma Nazarene University. As a dedicated educator, Marilyn has worked many years supporting children and

helping them live up to their academic potential.
