Cindy Mallin is first of all a joyful follower of Jesus. After raising three children (now all grown), and homeschooling them during their early years, she is now a grandmother of nine. She is blessed with an incredibly happy marriage to Mickey, a wonderful Jewish man who gave his heart to Jesus and never looked back.
Born and raised in the hills of Pennsylvania, Cindy first decided to follow Jesus as a teenager in a very poor, large family with no spiritual heritage and no church background. Always an avid reader, good books became her lifeline, and over 50 years ago, George Mueller became one of her teachers. Reading his story changed her life.
An occasional freelance writer for over thirty years, Cindy wrote and published several magazine articles, beginning while home raising young children. Later corporate jobs included heading up the local offices of a state representative, serving as operations manager for a small law firm, and executive assistant to the district manager of a global company. Once the children were all launched, she also returned to school to complete her bachelor’s degree, earning a B.S. from Roberts Wesleyan College.
These days, she enjoys working from home as a freelance writer and editor, and working with husband Mickey in their Home Watch business. They enjoy reading good books together, taking walks, and ballroom dancing.
