Alicia serves as a Partnering Director for the Public Speakers and was selected as “A Woman You Need to Know” by Women Speakers Association. She has been nominated for various business awards such the Public Speakers Association National Collaborator, Today’s Innovative Woman New Leader and Be The Boss Top 50 Connectors. Alicia is also a two-time recipient of the Texas Intercollegiate Press Association awards: one in radio announcing and the other in photography. She is the co-author of four books, including the Amazon International Best Seller “Share Your Message with the World” and Best Seller “25 Brilliant Business Mentors.”

In 1996, Alicia married her soul mate, Rick, who she met online before Internet dating was mainstream. Each year, the two travel with their pets to Yellowstone National Park where they photograph the dynamic and exciting wildlife and stunning landscapes. Alicia and Rick are volunteer reserve members of their local fire department and photograph the raw bravery of firefighters and police and provide support to the firefighters while working an incident. In 1998, Alicia graduated Magna Cum Laude from Texas Womans University earning a bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications. Ten years prior to that, she worked in hospitals as a nuclear medicine technologist. She is well traveled, having back packed across Europe, staying with locals in Honduras, and visiting Egypt twice by herself.
