David Clink

David C Clink was born in Nemacolin, PA, a small coal mining town about 50 miles south of Pittsburg. Later Dave's family moved to Maryland in the DC Metropolitan Area. After finishing high school in MD Dave entered the US Navy during the Viet Nam war. He served in the Combat Zones and was later retired from the Navy as a Disabled Veteran. He attaended Catholic University in Washington, DC and worked as an Engineer from 1973 until he retired in 2006. Dave is an entrepreneur and he and his wife ran several businesses, finally settling into photography. Karen, his wife of 44 years, worked at the White House under several administrations until leaving to raise her family and run their photography business. Dave began writing as a recreation and focused on humorous pieces until a freind recommended he write a book. Alfalfa Connection was his first. Fires of Revenge was the second and basically a sequel to the first. His latest book, Two Pills to Rio is different and deals with the enery crisis and what could happen if technology were to cut into oil profits.

Dave builds guitars, furniture and golf clubs and he and Karen love to travel. He is a golfer an Archery Instructor and shoots tournament archery. They live in the DC area and have three children and six grandchildren.
