Tomasz Bigaj

Tomasz Bigaj (PhD) is professor of philosophy at the University of Warsaw, Poland. He holds degrees in physics and philosophy. He has been a Fulbright fellow at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, and a Marie Curie fellow at the University of Bristol, UK and the University of California, San Diego. His main areas of specialization are philosophy of science (especially philosophy of physics), metaphysics, and philosophical logic. He is the author of six books and over sixty professional articles published in peer-reviewed journals (including Journal of Philosophical Logic, Synthese, Erkenntnis, Philosophy of Science, Studies in History and Philosophy of Modern Physics, Foundations of Physics). His latest books are "Identity and Indiscernibility in Quantum Mechanics" (Pallgrave-Macmillan 2022), "Non-locality and Possible Worlds: A Counterfactual Perspective on Quantum Entanglement" (Ontos Verlag, 2006), and "Metaphysics: A Guided Tour for Beginners" (University of Warsaw, 2012).
