Stay up late reading mysteries by GG Collins, finalist in the New Mexico Book Awards, reviewed by "Publisher’s Weekly" and added to the reading list at "Strand Magazine."
She enjoys the Southwest with a special interest in the Native tribes of the Four Corners. Their ways and beliefs add depth and color to her stories, as does the landscapes of the Land of Enchantment. When asked where she gets her ideas she says, “Everywhere!” But just so you know, she watches "Terror in the Woods," "Medium" reruns and was a "Supernatural" fan.
Collins writes two mystery series including Rachel Blackstone Paranormal Mysteries and the Taylor Browning Cozy Mysteries. Rachel walks a beat in Santa Fe, New Mexico reporting stories of the quick. Off hours, she solves supernatural mysteries that take her to uncanny places and times. She is the Reluctant Medium with the new age friend, a white spirit wolf and a psychic cat named Chile Pod, named after the New Mexico chile.
Taylor Browning is the mystery editor at a small publishing house in Santa Fe. The problem is, she can’t seem to stay in the office, preferring to solve mysteries that frequently entangle her job with murder. Her two cats, Oscar and Cheddar, can be helpful in mysterious ways. Oscar has an artistic temperament and is known to savage paper towels while Cheddar has the brave heart.
She lives with a man and four psychic cats.
