Raised on the outskirts of San Diego.

Performed first gigs as electric guitar frontman in 1967 for Jr. High dances.

Recorded first album, Bonita, in 1974.

Performed as bassist frontman for The Rich from 1978 to 1985.

Wrote and performed rock opera: COYOTE IN A GRAVEYARD in 1984. The Los Angeles press and Michael J Fox dubbed Richard Del Connor, "The Coyote," in 1985.

Performed as Coyote Graveyard from 1988 to 1991.

Became the one-man band, American Zen, in 1992.

Performed acoustic guitar solo concerts as THC The Hippy Coyote from 2001 to 2012.

Performs electric guitar solo concerts as "Kung Fu Cowboy" since 2013.

Released solo acoustic album: COYOTE RADIO TUJUNGA 2013.

Wrote and stars in KUNG FU COWBOY ROCK & ROLL MOVIE 1.
