Gary Bullock

Gary Bullock is a character actor and writer, originally from eastern Tennessee. His first play was a one-man show, A. Lincoln, written for himself, in which he portrays the 16th President. He has been a member of Playwrights 6 and Playwrights Kitchen Ensemble in Hollywood. In his past lives, he has been a software engineer, radar operator, Hollywood apartment manager, and DJ. One of his passions is building and flying model airplanes. He lives in western North Carolina with his soul mate, Mil Nicholson

Screenplays:

RIDGE RUNNER -- The true story of a Civil War hero of his home town, Elizabethton, Tennessee. The script won:

- 2nd Place in the Appalachian Film Festival Screenplay contest,

- Semi-finalist, Chesterfield Writer’s Film Project,

- First round finalist in scr(i)pt magazine’s Open Door Contest.

ELSEWHEN – A deeply romantic science fiction story in the tradition of THE LAKE HOUSE and THE TIME TRAVELER’S WIFE. The script won:

- 1st Place in the Appalachian Film Festival Screenplay contest
