Drusilla Dye

Drusilla Peterson Dye was born in eastern South Dakota and raised in the Black Hills of South Dakota. She has been an elementary teacher for 24 years, teaching in Minnesota and Montana. She and her husband, Chip, live on a ranch in south-east Montana.

Drusilla enjoys sewing wildlife quilts, fishing, hunting, raking hay and taking care of the bum lambs and calves. Jake, the Corgi, is another favorite that brings much joy to her life.

The Dyes host an annual branding and docking where friends come from Minnesota, Wyoming, Pennsylvania and South Dakota to help for a couple of days.

Life on the Ranch series began in 2000 as a simple newsletter to family and friends, updating them on exciting happenings at the ranch in eastern Montana. Enthused by many of these life lessons God taught her on the ranch and with the encouragement of friends and family, Drusilla shares her spiritual life lessons she has learned from each experience.
