Connie Reeves Cooke

Connie Reeves Cooke is the author of Fade to Dark and is a former magazine and television society columnist. She has been active in Houston's social and charitable fundraising scene for many years, chairing numerous galas and luncheons for education, the arts, medical organizations, and animal welfare. She is the president of the board of the Houston Humane Society and has received several prestigious honors for her volunteerism and fundraising. The former model lives in Houston and the Texas Hill Country with her husband, Clayton, and their two Chihuahuas. She enjoys scuba diving, tennis, and traveling the world.
