Alan Dube

Alan C. Dube is an Air Force veteran who served with USAFE in Germany and NORAD in Colorado during the latter years of the Cold War. He was awarded the Air Force Achievement Medal and Space Communications Badge for meritorious service, and earned an A.A.S. from the CCAF, a B.S. from Bryant College, and a M.B.A. from Providence College.

An avid historian, hockey fan and traveler, Alan had a long career in IT as a database consultant and educator. He’s also a member of the American Legion and the American Sons of Normandy, and has previously toured the Normandy battlefields extensively in 1983, 1999, and 2004. Alan returned to Normandy in 2009 for the 65th anniversary of D-Day to honor his father and all who served and sacrificed themselves on June 6, 1944. He continues to educate the public on the often unheralded role of Naval Beach Battalions in the D-Day landings.
