The author is a retired physician, attorney and real estate broker in Los Angeles. His educational background: BS magna cum laude, Marquette University; MD with distinction, University of Michigan Medical School; Internship, The Mount Sinai Hospital in NYC; Residency in internal medicine, The Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota; JD, Loyola Law School in Los Angeles.
He won the annual James Clavell Literary Award in 1997 for his story, Returning Alone to Maui, and authored two novellas: MD-JD and Sex Comes in Different Packages.
