Daryoush Mohammad Poor

Daryoush Mohammad Poor is an Associate Professor in the Department of Academic Research at the Institute of Ismaili Studies. He is the author of Authority without Territory: The Aga Khan Development Network and the Ismaili Imamate (2014), editor/translator of Command and Creation: A Shi'i Cosmological Treatise (2021), and translator of A Philosophical Treatise on Muslim Politics: Wisdom and Governance (2022). His 2026 book, This Night Will End: Mir Hossein Mousavi and the Long Argument for Iran, 2009–2026, gathers and interprets Mir Hossein Mousavi's political writings from the Green Movement through Woman, Life, Freedom. He writes on Ismaili studies, political philosophy, Iranian politics, and Muslim intellectual history. He is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy in the UK and Editor of the Ismaili Heritage Series.
