I am the mother of two awesome boys who happen to have food allergies. My sons are allergic to peanuts, wheat/gluten, milk and eggs. Because of their struggles, I started writing a children's book that deals with not only the allergy itself, but with the social and emotional aspects of eating differently. I think it's important for food allergic kids to have characters that they can relate to. With the help of this book, I hope to raise money for food allergy research and awareness.
