Dan Stephenson is the author of Noonday Light: Mobilizing the Church to Fight Modern Slavery. It is a call to action and a roadmap for those who want to get involved fighting human trafficking. Dan became an expert in this field by representing trafficking survivors pro bono as a lawyer for 16 years. Dan previously authored The Underwater Window, a novel set in the world of competitive swimming, and Fact or Fiction? Jesus According to the Evidence, a lawyer's look at the evidence related to Jesus. He retired after 42 years as a trial and appellate attorney. He was an All-American swimmer in high school and college (UCLA). As a masters swimmer, Dan has set 18 world records and currently (2026) holds two. In retirement, he continues his anti-trafficking work and is also the Vice President of Global Training for ZimZam Global, which trains leaders overseas how to plant new churches.
