William Poe

William Poe is a novelist, poet, and visual artist.

His Simon Powell Novels explore a question through the life of one man: What does it take to become the author of your own life after years giving in to other people’s expectations?

In addition to the Simon Powell Novels, Poe is the author of Endings: Poetry and Prose and Myths and Rhymes.

Poe earned a BA in art and an MA in anthropology. He worked in federal service, including at the Smithsonian’s National Museum of the American Indian.

His artwork has appeared in juried exhibitions and galleries across the United States.
