William Poe is a writer and visual artist.
His Powell Legacy Series follows Simon Powell, a gay man whose search for love carries him from religious devotion to Hollywood excess and international crime. After returning to his family home to pursue his art, Simon confronts tragedy, long-buried secrets, and the legacy of a family determined to protect its past.
In addition to the Powell Legacy novels, Poe is the author of Endings: Poetry and Prose and Myths and Rhymes.
Poe earned a BA in art and an MA in anthropology. He worked in federal service, including at the Smithsonian’s National Museum of the American Indian.
His artwork has appeared in juried exhibitions and galleries across the United States.
