Bill Walker

Bill Walker has written four textbooks for ESL/EFL students. With nearly 30 years experience teaching English to international students, Bill is immensely qualified to produce materials that actually work in the classroom. As an avid language learner himself (Spanish, French, German and Russian), he is keenly aware of the value of vocabulary. He has done extensive research on teaching and learning vocabulary and has given scores of presentations across the US and abroad. Bill's first vocabulary book, "Academic English Vocabulary for International Students," focuses on recognizing important words to improve reading comprehension, while his second book, "English Vocabulary for Academic Success" emphasizes written production, with an emphasis on grammar and spelling.
