Adis Roca

I was born in Guantanamo, Cuba. I lived in a small home built on stilts overlooking the Guantanamo Bay. I came to the United States at the age of five, where I spent most of my childhood years in the Florida Keys. It is there that I developed my passion for the sea. At the age of eighteen, I was hired by Eastern Airline and spent the next fifteen years travelling to many places around the world. These experiences have inspired my stories. I hope that as you read them, they will inspire you to find science in your life too.
