Diane M Keefe

Diane Keefe is a retired professional Geriatric Care Manager with an MA in Gerontology, who supported families in managing care for their older family members. She did much work for the City Administrator for the City of St. Louis through her company, Caring for Parents Together.  She received her Care Manager Certified Designation in 2009.

Ms. Keefe was the President of the Mid-East Area Agency on Aging Foundation in St. Louis, MO, for five years and hosted a caregiver talk show on https://www.blogtalkradio.com/dianekeefe every week, where she interviewed guests about issues of aging and caregiving.  She was a volunteer speaker for the  Alzheimer's Association and a member of the National Association of Professional Geriatric Care Managers. 

Ms. Keefe has always enjoyed writing.  She got her first taste of writing as editor of her high school newspaper. She was a 2002 Independent Publishers Finalist for “Daily Lifelines for Teens & Preteens”, a contributing author in “7 Points of  Impact”. She wrote "Blueprint for Care/A Practical Guide to Managing Care for Your Loved One" (2010), in which she shares her personal and professional experience. A companion workbook is also available, which guides adult children of aging parents in obtaining the critical information they need to advocate for their loved ones.

She has always enjoyed gardening and has gardened in 6 different zones throughout her life. She currently maintains a flower garden for her condo community and is exploring aeroponic gardening. She wrote, "Greenhouse Gardening for Beginners/ The Complete Guide to Organic Gardening, Lower Grocery Bills and Stress-Free Growing", 2025, based on her experience with a greenhouse in a prior home. She is currently updating all of her books for republication.

In her free time, Diane enjoys gardening, volunteering in her community, organizing social events, playing cards, creating jewelry and greeting cards, and writing. She believes in keeping a positive attitude, supporting others, and lifelong learning.
