Jon Kedrowski

Dr. Jon Kedrowski, also the author of the Denver Post bestselling "Sleeping on the Summits: Colorado 14er High Bivys" and "Skiing and Sleeping on the Summits: Cascade Volcanoes" grew up in Vail Colorado. Jon first climbed each of Colorado’s 14ers in the late 1990’s before he turned 18. He has also climbed and skied the 20 highest cascade volcanoes and finished the 74 named 14,000’ peaks in the lower-48 U.S. Over the years he has skied various routes from every 14er, also doing a project in 2016 where he climbed each 14,000’ mountain in Colorado in the same winter season and attempted to ski each peak. Jon has climbed and skied on all seven continents, including leading and/or advising climbing expeditions to each of the seven summits and has also skied every peak in his new guidebook "Classic Colorado Ski Descents". In 2012 Jon summited Mount Everest and has also been featured on several documentaries from his adventures about his climbing and skiing on the Discovery Channel, Smithsonian, NBC, DatelineNBC, CBS, ABC, FOX, and CNN. Jon’s favorite hobbies not only include skiing, mountaineering and photography, but he loves to travel, mountain bike, trail run, river raft, play basketball, and play golf while enjoying the gorgeous summer and fall seasons in Colorado.
