Kimberly Sciaraffa Berlin
Designing wire-worked jewelry gives Kimberly Sciaraffa Berlin a creative outlet and great satisfaction. She finds it both relaxing and rewarding to work on and complete her projects. Kimberly chooses to incorporate a wide variety of metals, glass, crystals, beads, wire, semi-precious stones, and cabochons to create her unique pieces. She is predominately self-taught and her designs are greatly influenced by ancient art, nature, Alexander Calder, and other artistic mediums. She feels that Calder's jewelry creations have inspired her to think and design without limit.
Kimberly has been published in Bead and Button Magazine, Wirework Magazine, Creative Chain Mail Jewelry, and Creative Beading. Her first book, Build Your Own Wire Pendants, was published in 2012. When she isn't teaching jewelry making or showing her jewelry at a jewelry show, she enjoys rock hunting, reading, and soap making.
