Vinay Kolhatkar

Fiction: Vinay Kolhatkar is the author of the reader-acclaimed novels: A Sharia London (2016), a suspense thriller in which a forbidden love draws the Mafia into fighting Radical Islam, and The Frankenstein Candidate (2012), a literary thriller about a billionaire who reshapes a United States presidential election. The deeply-meaningful Dreams of Orphans, launched in September 2026, is his third novel.

Vinay merges screenwriting techniques such as cliffhanger scene endings and subtextual dialogue with a definitive character arc to accomplish a cinematic novel on issues of literary gravitas.

Nonfiction: Vinay is the coauthor (with Walter Donway) of Media Wars: The Battle to Shape Our Minds, and a coauthor (with Roger Bissell) of Modernizing Aristotle’s Ethics: Toward a New Art and Science of Self-Actualization. Vinay is also a co-host of a podcast (The Savvy Street Show) and an occasional columnist at Spectator Australia and at The Savvy Street, a public intellectual e-zine.
