I write about the difference Jesus makes in real life—in our relationships, work, questions and the people we’re becoming.
Ten years as a Manchester police officer left me cynical about people and the world. A life-changing encounter with God set me on a bigger adventure, taking me to more nations than I can count to teach about faith, leadership and life.
I explore marriage, family, identity, purpose, failure and the courage to change. I tackle questions of belief, prayer and spiritual growth, helping people navigate a changing culture with joy. My aim is practical biblical truth, shared through honest stories, encouragement and humour.
I lead Ivy Church in Manchester, coach leaders, make video series, broadcast and podcast.
Writing began with a book token won in a newspaper competition at primary school. Police reports followed. Books came later.
I’m married, a dad and a grandad. You may find me in the gym—or lost in the mountains.
