Roberta Hoffer

Roberta Hoffer is a retired teacher from Indiana, married with 2 children, one grandson, and two Yorkies named Minnie and Buddy. As of May 2013,THE SILENT VAMPIRE TRILOGY was completed. The books, in order, are: SILENTHEART,SILENT MADNESS, and SILENT BLOOD. The Trilogy is based around Columbus, Indiana, the author's hometown. The characters are the author's deceased relatives and actually DID EXIST.

Roberta has now expanded her writing to include her real passion: children's books. Her first book, "The Ghost of Stonebridge Lane," was released in March 2014 by Dragonfly Publishing, Inc. It is the first book in The Stonebridge Ghost Tales; a chapter book series aimed at age 8-12 readers. Her inspiration was her 11 year old grandson, Christian. Book two, "The Ghost of the Frozen North", and book three, "The Ghost of Stony Manor", were released in 2015.

In yet another level of writing, Roberta has written a children's picture book for ages 3-6. The book, "Nakita's Big Question", was released July 2014 by Kitty Cat Books, a division of Dragonfly Publishing. It is illustrated by a well-known artist, Chet Taylor. The book is dedicated to her Chowchow who passed in 2008. Her name was Nakita.
