Before he was able to walk, Brad Dwyer had started using crayons and pencils to scribble on scrapes of paper, books, and anything else in the immediate vicinity. And much to his older brother’s chagrin, this incessant mark-making would sometimes extend to the comic books that Brad’s brother would leave lying around the house.
After discovering punk rock in his teenage years, he played in a variety of loud, obnoxious bands before eventually applying the same D.I.Y energy and aesthetic to self-publishing autobiographical minicomics. Nowadays, Brad's art and comics can be found on the Phoenix New Times award winning webcomic, "Epic Tales of the Mundane", in addition to the weekly "Record Heat" comic strip, which appears on "Up on the Sun", the Phoenix New Times music blog. He has also contributed stories to several anthologies, including the forthcoming "Unite and Take Over, Vol. 2: A Smiths Comic Anthology" and the "EOC (Eleven O' Clock Comics) Anthology, Vol. 2".
