Lisa Dalrymple

Lisa is the author of both fiction and non-fiction books for young readers. "Fierce: Women who Shaped Canada" (Scholastic) is her most recent publication. Her other books include picture books "Skink on the Brink," "A Moose Goes a-Mummering," "Double Trouble at The Rooms," "Bubbly Troubly Polar Bear" and "If It’s No Trouble... A Big Polar Bear." Lisa is also the author of "Jungle Jitters," a middle grade novel for reluctant readers, and several non-fiction educational books.

Outside of writing, Lisa’s primary love is travelling. She has lived with chickens in South Korea, a cat in Scotland and a gecko in her shower in Thailand, and she has travelled throughout Europe, Asia, Tanzania, Peru and Guatemala. She now lives with her family and their two lizards (Taud & Cynda) in British Columbia, Canada.
