Tracy's first job was working as an admission's counselor recruiting high school students college that opened her eyes to the career struggles students were facing. While meeting with these students and families, she quickly noticed how much time they would spend on the college admissions and financial aid and how little time was devoted to career planning. Nevertheless, career struggles would seem to sneak up on them at various stages in their college careers and often upon graduation. Watching this happen to student after student truly inspired her to take action and help create a solution.
Tracy began working with Jan Lowe on the CareerCode project in Minneapolis in 2003 and they've spent the last decade developing and honing the CareerCode book, system and workbooks. She is passionate about helping people find their way in the Labor Market. CareerCode's mission is to completely change how career counseling is done from high schools to colleges and even for career changers who are often experiencing the most agony in their current jobs. Please feel free to email her with any question and she would love your comments and participation on blog and website www.careercode.com and tracylungrin.com.
