James Lingard

James Lingard - educated at Dulwich College and University College London - was a leading City of London solicitor who specialised in banking law and insolvency law as a partner in Norton Rose. He wrote Lingard's Bank Security Documents (LexisNexis Butterworths) now in its 7th edition; numerous articles and gave many lectures.

Since his retirement, he has written:-

Britain at War 1939 to 1945 a concise history of the war;

The Girl Who Disappeared a fact based 20th century historical romance with rave reviews “A Tale of Love and Survival”;

The Caucasus Cauldron an action packed thriller and

Trapped in Iran an action adventure thriller about Israelis in the 1979 Iranian revolution.
