Check out my newest novel, Nina's Nebulosity, on Amazon! Nina desperately wanted to end her life upon discovering that her handsome, multi-millionaire fiancé had been cheating on her with dozens of women. Yet, during her darkest hour, she managed to find the inner strength to battle her demons and persevere. Quite unexpectedly, a man beyond Nina’s wildest dreams, Isaac, entered her life and filled her heart with the kind of love she thought unimaginable. Ultimately, though, the sanctity of their eternal bond was contingent on others beyond this world. In full darkness, a ray of light brings hope.
My second novel, Isaac's Touch, is currently available on Amazon. Joey Westerfield was a young Southern boy that grew up in rural North Carolina during the 1940s and 1950s. Nothing seemed to be too terribly out of the ordinary to the people that knew him. In fact, Joey’s own parents were unaware that there were extraordinary things happening to this seemingly ordinary boy; however, he knew differently. Joey knew as a young man that he had been chosen out of billions of people to serve an important mission that would last his entire lifetime. Joey went to faraway places and met unusual people, but he had to keep everything a secret. Follow Joey as he embarks on a journey you could never imagine and learn about another young man named Isaac and how his touch significantly changed the people around him and beyond. There is more to the world than meets the eye and Isaac’s Touch will take you there.
My first novel, To Kill for a Fortune, is available on Amazon as well. Brandon Johnston is 17 years old and has it all. His family is wealthy, he is engaged to get married, and he leads an impressively storybook life. There’s one little problem though. Brandon and his wealthy entrepreneur father, Ron Johnston, have a tumultuous relationship. Brandon’s missing the most important ingredient from Ron—his father’s love. Brandon’s father, Ron, in return, distrusts his son. This dysfunctional relationship works against both Ron and Brandon. A series of misunderstandings and bad decisions challenge Brandon to contemplate taking drastic, inconceivable measures, and ultimately seek revenge against his powerful father. When Brandon is forced to reside in a mental institution, his anger toward his father turns to rage. As Brandon’s memory returns, his plot to seek revenge against his father radically transforms into something unthinkable. While locked away at the mental institution, Valley Springs, Brandon develops significant relationships with two female patients. He mistakenly falls in love with one, and his friendship with another nearly costs him his life. This temporary diversion is not enough to completely distract Brandon from his ultimate goal: revenge against his patriarchal, hateful, and condescending father. Yet, Brandon quickly learns that he must keep his feelings mostly to himself, especially from Pat, his beautiful, wealthy fiancé. While institutionalized, Brandon’s primary goal is proving his sanity to Dr. Shock in hopes of securing his release. Pat is next to Brandon’s side every step of the way. Marrying Brandon is her ultimate dream. Her love and support sustains Brandon. Will Pat be the medicine Brandon needs to cure the animosity toward his father? Does love conquer all? Will Brandon get released from the walls that keep him a prisoner? Will Pat and Brandon get married? And will Brandon make amends with his father? Read To Kill for a Fortune to seek the answers to all of these questions and more.
I initially started writing my first novel, To Kill for a Fortune, when I was 16 and finished when I was 17 years old. I let the book sit in its handwritten form in a folder until I was 32, which is when I began typing it in Word Perfect in its present state. I added more content and tweaked the book from its original form. I secured a contract with a book publishing company, but it closed its doors just before my novel was scheduled to go into production. Dismayed and downtrodden, I did nothing with the book for 15 years. Five years ago my novel became available via Amazon as an eBook. Finally, after 35 years of waiting, my novel was finally published as a paperback on March 3, 2017.
