Robert B. Haas

Miracle Man: 100 Days with Oliver is the tenth book by Robert B. Haas. In addition to his highly successful investment career, Haas has become one of the world’s most renowned aerial photographers. The author has published a series of photographic books on African wildlife and four collections of aerial photography distributed by National Geographic, including the best-selling Through the Eyes of the Gods: An Aerial Vision of Africa (2005), Through the Eyes of the Condor: An Aerial Vision of Latin America (2007), I Dreamed of Flying Like a Bird (2010), and Through the Eyes of the Vikings: An Aerial Vision of Arctic Lands (2010).

Haas’s photographs have appeared in major exhibits throughout the world, and his work has been featured on CBS News Sunday Morning, ABC News Nature’s Edge, and CNN, and in National Geographic, Time, Forbes Life, and numerous other publications.

A graduate of Yale University and Harvard Law School, Haas has lectured frequently at both universities. He lives in Dallas, Texas, with his wife and their six dogs. A devoted father, Haas enjoys spending time with his three daughters, who have often accompanied him on his photographic travels.
