Johan Burghall

Johan Burghall is a half-English, half-Finnish author with a passion for folklore, history, and the unexplained.

His debut Young Adult supernatural series The Veil Trilogy explores the history of vampires, fairies and other supernatural beings in folklore and literature as they intersect with the ordinary lives of its teenage protagonists and their families.

When not slaving over a hot keyboard, Johan enjoys reading mouldering tomes in musty libraries, walking the ancient paths through fold and forest, and reciting Edgar Allan Poe's The Raven from memory. With props.
