Mason Clark

Mason Clark is a retired semiconductor engineer who started with the Bell Telephone Laboratory in the early days of the transistor, 1952 -1957. He writes about subjects that capture his interest, like writing PhD theses. Looking for the source of "positive thinking" he came upon P. P. Quimby for whom there was, at the time, nothing readable even though Quimby was recognized as the patron saint, or the founder, of New Thought. His interest in positive thinking arose from the "think and get rich" notion and led to his "How to Get Rich in Small Business" book, published only on his web site. When homosexuals "came out" in the 1960's a scientific article caught his attention and he researched the scientific literature to compile his book about the causes and cures of homosexuality. The book, "Greater America in the Age of Rebellion" published in 2008 -- before the Arab Spring rebellions -- arose from his concern that Americans needed a compilation of the facts about their own country and its future. His "Memoir from a Greatest Generation" tells of growing up in the Great Depression, the Navy in World War II, and a career in the new semiconductor technology.
