Susan Levan was born in South Yorkshire and worked as a lecturer at Doncaster College teaching Film Studies. She wrote the York Film Notes on 'Fargo' which was published in 2000. She wrote 'Into the Dangerous World' (as Sue Levan) with a friend after holidays spent together in France. This was great fun and quite a learning experience. Susan likes to write crime stories and accessible poetry. She would like to write a serious novel but best of all would love to write a really funny one. Sue enjoys reading, TV Drama, Theatre and Cinema and travelling - especially with friends. She still lives in South Yorkshire and now has five fascinating grandchildren, all of whom live within spitting distance. Susan finished writing 'The Crow and the Cradle' in 2014. Her eldest granddaughter, Megan, designs the covers for her books.
