Born 1970
Died - not for a long time yet
So what's to tell? Life is rich and exciting, if you don't believe me, look out the window and marvel at what you see. Everything changes. Not that there's any time to be staring out the window. A working mum to two boys doesn't get much busier. Of course it wasn't always this way. Once I was a student; full of energy and optimism and alcohol - generally all at the same time. Round the world and back again, up some mountains and down again. And now? Well here I am at 50, and still I find this life amazing and exciting - did you see that squirrel? I'm sure it just did a back flip just for fun.

What do you write?
Fiction mostly. Thrillers and mysteries.
Why do you write?
My desire is to create a page-turner for my readers.
I love the ability to reflect on my own motives and emotions and translate those into a completely new situation or character. Re-living the anger, or pain, or irony of an experience I have had, and relating that to something the character is doing or feeling is great. The fact that a story can appear from "nowhere" is exciting and the urge to get it on paper so others can enjoy it is a driving energy.
What is your inspiration?
All of us have experienced life, and the more varied and rich that is, the easier it is to transform that experience into a completely new situation. There is never a better teacher than life itself, my imagination uses our reality with an unexpected twist, I create multi-dimensional characters by combining traits and motives from many different real people. The emotions I feel become expressed through my characters in scenes with little relevance to my own existence. If you have felt it, you can share it and your characters will be enriched by that passion.
