John Pretorius

John A Pretorius was born in 1981 in South Africa, in the city of Pretoria, where he still lives, though he likes to visit Mpumalanga on occasion. Currently he works as a salesperson for a telecommunication company, but has been writing in his spare time since high school.

Living in Times of Dragons is his first novel, but Pretorius is working on more which he hopes to publish soon.

His favourite authors are CS Lewis, JRR Tolkien, Deon Meyer, Umberto Eco, HP Lovecraft, Neil Gaiman, Raymond Chandler and RA Lafferty.
