Hyginus Mathurin

I was born in Dennery, a rural district in the beautiful island of St Lucia W.I., and am the only child of a single mother. I grew up Catholic, and was obviously influenced by its religious policies. After finishing my education I became a police constable and served in that capacity for more than eleven years.

Sometime in the early 90s I regrettably became a baptized member of the Seventh-day Adventists, where I served in various key offices, most of which were directly involved in ministry for more than eight years. I resigned those positions because I could no longer identify with the dogmatic insinuations of that denomination. My quest for answers to the moral questions such as marriage, fornication, and adultery made me an Independent Biblical Principle Researcher.
