Kerri L. Bennett

Kerri L. Bennett grew up in Warren, a small town in South Arkansas. From an early age she expressed an interest in reading and writing. She graduated from Arkansas State University with a BA in English and Creative Writing and then taught high school English. She returned to Arkansas State and earned an MA in Nineteenth Century British Literature as well as a Ph.D. in Heritage Studies. She is currently an adjunct professor for the A-State English and Philosophy Department and teaches Freshman Composition I and II, World Literature, Technical Writing, and a Heritage Studies Research Seminar course.
