Paula Garriott

Paula Garriott is an award-winning writer who has covered such diverse topics as politics, crime and entertainment in her mostly newspaper journalism career. She has served as communications director for several organizations and has also worked in the fundraising arena.

The daughter of a butcher, she has been refining her palate since childhood and loves to cook. An avid cookbook collector herself, she owns more than 100 vintage, specialty and regional cookbooks. This is her first attempt at writing one.

Paula has lived in Las Vegas since 2006 and is a native of Idaho. She has dined in many of the restaurants listed in this book and is looking forward to visiting all of them.
