Charles Evans

Bud Evans also known as Charles Evans is an old redneck from Montana. He moved to Washington State because he was not tough enough for Montana. His greatest passion is life. Life is a real kick. His list of talents is a mile long but the best of them are: gardening, helping others, fixing anything and a love of family and all living things.

He grew up in the mountains of Central Montana in a sawmill without electricity. Those Snowy Mountains were well named as the average fall was about 12 feet for a normal year if there was such a thing. His Mother taught him to garden at 6500 feet elevation where the seasons were July, August and Winter. In this harsh environment she grew all of the vegetables, potatoes and grew most of the meat that the family used.

His family believed in education. Bud attended Montana State College where he obtained a degree in Chemistry Education and Industrial Arts. He received his Masters Degree in Biology and Physics from Fort Wright College of Holy names.

He has a master’s degree in biology and a PHD (pile higher and deeper) in the school of hard knocks. He knows how to take 50 cents and make it do five dollars worth of work. Listen to him and he will save you money.

Charles taught high school science for 6 years. He operated an automotive repair facility for 15 years and worked for 13 years as a Senior Health Physicist on the Hanford Nuclear Reservation.

Bud writes books because he thinks that he has information that is important to help others to live a better life. Some of his books are darn funny as he relates life events.
