SHEENA L. SMITH

Sheena Smith worked with children for over 40 years in variety of settings from a day care to group homes and a detention center. She has been a special education assistant for over 20 years and has raised four children, including two children with special needs-one has Spina bifida and the other has Down syndrome. She knows the challenges children face daily both at home and within the educational system.A strong advocate for meeting her children's needs in the school environment and within the community, she has traveled and studied extensively seeking inclusive ways to help children with restricted physical mobility and intellectual disabilities to learn and thrive.

Sheena Smith is an Certified Mental Wellness Coach, Author, Speaker and Dream Builder Coach. She loves meeting others and enjoys helping individuals to be inspired to live the life of their dreams. She believes in living a fulfilling, adventurous and happy life despite life's setbacks and challenges. Her coaching focus is mind, body and spirit centered. She offers an effective and proven coaching system for Dream Building. Your dreams can come true!

In 2013, her book was awarded a Gold Seal for Literary Excellence awarded by Trafford Publishing. The cover has been redesigned to carry the seal of recognition for her literary accomplishment of receiving a positive review from the US Review of Books.
