David B. Welsh

David B. Welsh, a retired vascular surgeon and native of Massachusetts, graduated from Iowa State University, received his MD from Tufts University School of Medicine, did residency training in Albany and Buffalo, New York, and served three years in the Air Force in Japan. He joined the Southern California Medical Group and practiced at Kaiser Hospital in Fontana, California for thirty-one years. Dave and his wife Ahlene, a metalsmith and weaver, currently divide their time between Claremont and Cambria, California.

Dave has written three novels. 'The Shakarchi File', a terrorism thriller, is out on Kindle and soon to appear in paperback from Create Space. 'Marburg' should come out in a few months. He republished 'Genes, Dots, and Spies', his first book, after some revisions in 2013.
