Lisa writes fiction for adults and young adults. Her eighth novel, and her first psychological suspense, 'The Pact' is out now. 'The Last Hike' comes out in January 2027. Her other novels are 'Trouble is my Business', 'The Girl with the Gold Bikini', 'Paris Syndrome', 'Melt', 'Sex, Lies and Bonsai', 'Arkie's Pilgrimage to the Next Big Thing' and 'Liar Bird'. Her radio play 'Baddest Backpackers' was produced for ABC Radio National and she has won several short story awards.

Lisa grew up in Fiji before moving to Australia, where she now calls the Northern Rivers region of NSW home. She has worked as a wilderness guide and park ranger and has a degree in zoology and a PhD in creative writing.
