D. Bruce Coryell

D. Bruce Coryell grew up on Galveston Island in southeast Texas. He spent most of his life in Texas, but four years in the Air Force after high school gave him the opportunity to experience life in Alaska, and several other states. Bruce always “dabbled in the arts” doing portraits sketches for years of anyone willing to “sit” for him. After retiring and moving to the mountains of northern Georgia he took up oil painting and an even more ambitious project…writing a novel…a desire he’d had since a young man. His first novel was published in 2010.
