Harris R. Cohen

A learned man with life experience, Dr. Harris Cohen treated patients in his private chiropractic office for more than twenty-five years. During this time, Dr. Cohen listened carefully to their health issues. In the process, he observed that his patients inundated themselves with negative messages that prevented them from moving forward in their lives and in their health. He began speaking to them about “negotiating” with themselves to reach the right choices that would provide them a happier and healthier lifestyle.

In addition to his thriving practice, his professional career included: assistant professor of clinical sciences-University of Bridgeport, assistant professor of clinical sciences-New York Chiropractic College, lecturer-Suffolk County Police Department, pharmaceutical representative-Ross Laboratories, teacher-junior high and high school biology and chemistry, cantor-Mastic Beach Hebrew Center, and teacher-Yeshiva of Suffolk County.

Dr. Cohen has also had an impressive formal education with the following degrees: doctor of chiropractic-New York Chiropractic College, master of science in human sciences-C.W. Post College, and bachelor of arts in biology-Hartwick College. In addition, he has been trained in communications with advanced certificates in neurolinguistic programming. He has also been certified as an EMT, AEMT, and CPR instructor/trainer.

He lives on the east end of Long Island with his wife Corrine, who he considers the love of his life.
