Paul Weightman

Paul Weightman was born in 1955, in the Royal Naval hospital in Imtarfa, Malta. His parents, George, and Mary Weightman, were stationed on the island after World War Two. Paul and his parents return to England in 1960. Having spent a few months living in Catterick, North Yorkshire, they moved to Bridlington, East Yorkshire. Paul spent his childhood going to school at Burlington Junior School, and then on to Headlands Secondary School in Bridlington. From 15-years of age, Paul left school and worked on the fishing boats down on the harbour, by the time he had reached his seventeenth birthday, he had joined the British Army. Having completed 23-years of service as a highly decorated soldier, he left the army and established a phenomenally successful transport company. In 2004 he wrote his first book, a fantasy adventure novel for children ‘The Scallies’ which eventually got published in 2006. Since then, he has successfully published over fifty titles. As a multi-genre author, Paul loves to write vampire & Zombie novels, but his favourite genre is fictional crime, primarily, Serial Killers!
