Judith Thomas

I am a long time career coach that has worked with various groups as an intake coordinator, workshop facilitator, employment counsellor, community liaison, job developer and employer educator. I currently run my own business as Canada Career Coach, where I offer in-house training sessions to employment specialists and sessions on diversity hiring for corporations. I have worked individually with 40 plus job seekers, youth, long term unemployed clients, newcomers to Canada and persons with disabilities. All clusters have value to add to an employer base. I am a life long proponent of diversity hiring and my first book reflects that value. Work Abilities is a guide for persons with disabilities seeking employment. This group's skills and abilities have often been overlooked and this guide is meant to support them in achieving their ultimate career goals.

I have a second book, awaiting publishing which is for career coaches working with persons with disabilities. It is aimed to assist coaches to identify, and cut through, some of the barriers facing this population.
