I enjoy meeting and talking with people. I can strike up a conversation with anyone in the grocery store. If I leave smiling and they leave smiling, it was worth it.

Raised in Baltimore, I now live in Pleasant Garden, NC. My special treasures are my children and my grandchildren. My unique treasures are very special friends. I had to discover new adventure´s while I was learning a new area. I had to cope with my health issues as well. But life is a venture.

Someone asked me once who my hero was. I have to laugh. I put my faith in a person once. After many years of good and bad, a choice was made for me. I couldn´t believe that happened again. It seemed someone was always making choices for me. Then, I rediscovered who my hero truly was. He was the one sure being I could always count on. He stood by me regardless of any circumstance. I knew it and not meaning to I pushed Him aside. He was in the back of my mind until I was alone again and troubled. My hero is Jesus.

I spend a lot of time reading and writing. I always wanted to write a book. Writing, my life´s dream meant following my heart. While it´s been on the back burner for awhile I´ve had lots of time to think about what´s next. A special friend told me never to give up on it. So, it´s time. If you ever have a question please feel free to ask. I will answer as honestly as I can.

I needed to mention there are changes in my writing. Even some fun things for the children. Now with the release of my new book and more to come I want to say this. If I am able to touch one heart, if I am able to create one smile then I have reached my dream with the Lord's help and guidance.

My plan is to donate where ever I can with some of these books. Especially the children's books. There is something else I am looking into, so the book can be available for disabled children. While on this subject I have beoome a supporter/advocate for children with Congenial Heart Disease. These children are true warriors. Sadly two many earn their angel wings. So whatever I can to help raise awareness and show support to these families I will. I also now sponsor Kids With Down Syndrome & CHD. Again I will help raise awareness. There are fundraisers and many other areas that need help. This group gives back and helps families of these special children any way they can.

I want to reach out and touch some hearts and create some beautiful smiles. Maybe even color someone's day a little brighter. A few doors have closed and I just didn't understand. Suddenly, a few more have opened. I am reaching out, giving back and touching hearts. It has been incredible. Take that life long dream, add your passion and give back, all out of love. You will be on one amazing journey!

Something else I thought of. I welcome all reviews. The good ones and the not so good ones. I understand everyone has a different writing style. I understand everyone has a different opinion. While one person may think a book is awesome, another may not agree. That's good! It can be a lesson learned for me. Maybe I need to change something. I won't know unless I try. So hearing from you is very important to me.
