Laxmi Mitra

Laxmi Mitra is born in the Philippines but has been raised in Indonesia, Singapore and Manila, Philippines. She is a teacher by profession. She has had 10 years of teaching experience. Initially, she taught in two (2) International Schools in the Philippines. She also took up Education degree in De La Salle University, Philippines. Tacher Laxmi, the author of "Discipline Your Child: A Guide to Raising Responsible and Independent Children" wanted to address the need of the parents in raising children. She has always wanted to make a difference in the child's life. She believe that this book will help her achieve her goal.

Due to her passion in teaching, Teacher Laxmi decided to put up her own tutorial center. Currently, she runs her own tutorial center and works closely with the parents and children. Her tutorial center is focused on teaching discipline to the children. In the process, she has learned from them and has gained invaluable experiences which she has shared in her book.
