Alexis Powers was born in Manhattan. Her first novel, Kiss My Tattoo, was a huge success followed by Kiss Daddy Goodbye and Kiss Amanda For Me. Besides writing a non-fiction book, Paths to Freedom, Alexis wrote three novels with co-author Rayford Hammond. Last year she published a children's book that she'd dreamed of writing for over 25 years, Madi's Dollhouse.
The Adventure of John Quincy Quail is a wonderful children's book about a quail family, Luscious photography by Jane McCutchen.
Alexis and Jane did another book together, The Adventures of Louis and Lucy Lizard.
Besides writing, Alexis has a passion for playing bridge. She's found a wonderful group to play with online. Another passion is playing Scrabble which she also does online.
Editing books for other authors is enjoyable. She also coaches potential writers.
