John Sailors

John Sailors has worked as a writer and editor in Asia and the US, in educational publishing and as a journalist. He is currently working on several history projects surrounding maritime trade around the Indian Ocean and Asia, and the beginnings of colonization. That research led to his book "Magellan's Unlikely Explorers: Stories of the First Circumnavigation," a beta edition of an ongoing project.

When not performing mind-relaxing copyediting (meditating), John can be found reading dictionaries, blowing up video game enemy tanks, and devoting allegiance to that age-old human endeavor of caring for cats.
